Patrick J. McKenna is an attorney with over two decades of experience as a litigator, including over 15 years in bankruptcy representation. Mr. McKenna has represented banks, mortgage companies, financial service companies and other creditors in the private and public sector through the protection of their interests in bankruptcy and civil litigation. He also has over a decade of experience in the representation of both individuals and businesses as debtors in bankruptcy.
Mr. McKenna has office hours at both the Chesapeake and Hampton offices and also practices in the areas of estate planning and administration. He has been a guest lecturer at Regent University School of Law and has taught on bankruptcy and its impact on creditor’s rights in foreclosure and collection efforts through the National Business Institute.
Patrick earned his B.A. and B. Mus. Degrees cum laude from The State University of New York at Potsdam and his J.D. degree with an emphasis in estate planning from Regent University School of Law. Mr. McKenna is a member of Virginia State Bar (Bankruptcy Section and the Estate Planning & Trust Section) and Tidewater Bankruptcy Bar Association. |
